Pretty good! ....for a magazine
My family has been getting this magazine ever since I can remember, and I liked it. But it started to change over the years, and I think the biggest change was the comics. It used to be Noah Vale, which was funny, but it had to stop when the 'bad' kid got saved, so they switched to Johnny Bravo, a si fi. Then that ended because the evil guy got defeated, so now it is some rat.
The jokes are corny, and the games are weak, but I think this magazine would be excelant for 8-10 year olds. But if you're more interested in the older stuff, get the other ones.

Okay, I THINK that I am a little ttttooooo old for this
I originally got Clubhouse Jr, when I was about 7, maybe 6, and I think that I liked it at the time. Then when I was about 9 I switched to Clubhouse. Now I am 12, and VERY mature for my age, (at least thats what every one tells me) and I am SO bored when I get it and can't wait to switch to Brio. I look through it to the art pages and then to the Ask Away section and then I throw it away. I WOULD HOWEVER, recommend it to kids up to the age of 10, maybe even 11, but, being a 12 year old girl, I am more interested in the topics that Brio covers, and not about pet rat comics and stories about how little Sally is sad because she has no friends. But it is good, and I did have 2 things published in it over the past few years.

ClubHouse Magazine is cool
One Grandma ordered this magazine for my boys and the other ordered the Highlight magazine. My kids look at the back cover of Highlights for the hidden word game and never look at it again. They have read the Clubhouse magazine from cover to cover several times. They also actively save the Clubhouse magazine. ... Read more

Practical, elegant, worthwhile resource
If you are looking for a magazine that will help you to incorporate your Catholic beliefs more fully into your daily life, Faith and Family would be a worthwhile addition to your family library. I eagerly await each issue, and I find the entertainment recommendations and seasonal guide to the liturgical calendar to be extremely useful tools in creating a truly Catholic family life and home. In addition, I appreciate the lovely, inspiring illustrations and photographs. Also, the advertisements and referenced websites have supplied me with a great deal of helpful material as I strive to create a true domestic church for my husband, son, and extended family. While I do not find the magazine "shallow," it is true that many of the articles are brief and to the point, enabling the busy reader (even a never-stop stay-at-home mom like myself) to keep abreast of new developments related to our beloved faith. By all means, supplement this lovely magazine with a variety of Catholic and secular reading material to satisfy all facets of your desire for knowledge, but recognize that this magazine does what it does very well.

A Wonderful Magazine for Every Catholic Family
I was given a gift subscription of 'Faith and Family' a year ago and have thoroughly enjoyed every issue I've received. As a homeschooling mother of four (so far), I am always looking for creative ideas for the kids to do at home. This not only provides ideas for kids, but it is a great read for the entire family.
There are recipes, information on saints, marriage and family articles, advertised places to find religious gifts, holiday ideas, tips on style fashion, and so much more.
It is orthodox and I enjoy seeing my children looking at the beautiful glossy pictures. 'Faith and Family' is a tasteful and refreshing change to many women's magazines out there today.

Concrete help in building a family faith life
Not having grown up with the practice of any faith, learning how to make faith an integral part of my children's lives has been challenging, but finding Faith & Family has been a great help. And there's more. Faith & Family provides thought-provoking articles about marriage, parenting, the spiritual life, and contemporary culture, all in a beautifully photographed magazine. It is a joy to receive.

The best Catholic magazine out there!
As a professional magazine journalist and Catholic convert, I was disappointed with the quality of many Christian/Catholic publications. I understood it, though -- to save money, you have to scrimp on paper grade, photography, writers' salaries, etc. Well, if any corners have been cut in this magazine, I can't find them. What I do find, though, is thick, glossy paper, gorgeous photography, terrific ideas for living the liturgical year with your family, and great writing.
