excellent review of global issues
This magazine provides an excellent source of information for really important global issues that often are left unsaid.
Even the advertising is educational, and there are numerous organizations that you can get involved with through this magazine.
the only downside is that a few of my subscriptions were never mailed - but when i called customer service they were usually really great about sending out replacements

the view from the other side
I love this magazine, it provides and in-depth view of social, economic, and political issues from the Southern (3rd world) perspective. A little left of objective, but a must read for those who want to become informed on something other than Western propaganda. From a Scot
I must admit that when I originally subscribed to Highlander I did it just for fun. However After a few Months I found myself meeting New poeple and understanding so much more about my heritage and Enjoyed going to Heritage events. The articles alone are worth the price of this magazine but there is soo much more such as event places and even a place I found that made my kilt! If your Scottish or of Scottish heritage this is a magazine you will never want to be without.

Minaret of Positive Journalism
I am a regular reader of "Minaret" magazine for many years.I have found it to be an excellent source of information about the Muslim community in America, the contributions of Muslims to America, their participation in community affairs, especially their participation in the American elections, and what and how muslims can give their positive contributions to the American society which the muslims are a part of.

I believe these types of magazines should be subscribed to, and they should be popularized in the public.I have found this magazine to be against all sorts of extremism, and stressing the important goal of emphasizing on the muslim community to become a part of the American fabric.

Hopefully this magazine will continue to be a Minaret of truth and positive journalism in America. ... Read more
