Magazine for ALL interested in wooden boats
It is true that this magazine isn't written for women. It is written for ALL who are interested in the technicalities, art and beauty of wooden boat building and restoration. If you want a magazine that is targeted specifically for women, it is true that you are looking in the wrong place. I personally happen to truly enjoy this magazine. This is regardless of the fact that I am through and through a woman!

This publication offers everything the reader would expect. The cover says it is "the magazine for wooden boat owners, builders, and designers". The content matches the promise.

This Magazine is for EVERYBODY!
The person who reviewed this magazine earlier says it is not for women. What abunch of bull. The reviewer even admits that he/she has never even read the magazine. Well if that isn't prejudice. No wonder the Isreali that wrote that review has so many problems in his/her country... PREJUDICE!

A Good magizine, but buy it on the newsstands

Tuff Stuff, a magizine that has price guides on sports cards and collectibles, along with little advertisements for card shops across the country and handy items to help preserve your valuable cards.

It's very useful for someone trying to find the value of their cards and figures, but it's a waste of money for a subscription because one or two things might be updated in each monthly issue. I think they should make it every couple of months if they want more subscriptions.

My suggestion to you is that you buy a copy on the newsstands every couple of months, and if you absolutely have to get the monthly subscription, that's for you to decide. ... Read more

I've been a subscriber since Issue #2. This mag has the feel of an independent source for info. on the NBA, College, Playground, and High School that you may not find anywhere else. I'd rather read Dime than any of the other major mags when it comes to bball news. I wish it was 12 issues instead of 4 per year; but that's only because I enjoy reading it so much.

Like No Other Magazine
I just got their third issue with Kenyon Martin on the cover and it is awesome. They look at hoop the way it is supposed to be looked at. The writing is sophisticated and the stories are about the lives of the players and the different stories within the game. They have a piece on the different jewlery NBA stars are rocking, an interview with Kenyon Martin who says being black contributed to his "thug" rep and a very cool piece where they go out in NYC with Richard Jefferson. Excellent Information Source
This is a great magazine, filled with information that I refer to again and again. Want to know the towing capacity of various trucks, or the towing rules of various states (max beam width, speed etc), or safe trailering rules (loads, tires, hitches etc)? It is all in this publication. The magazine is for those of us with smaller boats and not the mega buck mega crusiers so often reviewed by other publications. I doubt that (...) those who own 60 foot boats even read the publications that print the reviews. Why should they? They can hire naval architects to help them choose. But for me, the owner of a smaller boat, Trailer Boats magazine is an excellent information source filled with practical advice. Buy it. ... Read more

Man Magnum Shoots Straight
Flicking through the first few pages, stopping every here and there, I very soon realized that this was not just another outdoor magazine. This was a real hunting magazine by real hunters for real hunters. Bow hunters, rifle hunters, handgun hunting, female hunters, you name it, they had it.

Interesting articles, well written by experienced hunters and other trade folk. The general layout of the magazine is quite exceptional, in that it has combined both english and afrikaans(second national language of south africa) articles in such a way that it was appealling to both parties. Breathtaking photography and detailed descriptions flowed from one page to another, each one trying its best to out do the other.

It's columns were filled with vital information, the kind that only years of dealing in the hunting and gun trade brings about being.

I found that the best part of it was the smalls and "hunting opportunities" pages. Jam packed with saucy deals and best-kept-secret-hunting hide-outs.
No bull, straight shooting on the reviews pages and an honest to goodness feeling about the whole issue is the best way I can describe this magazine.

A must for the descerning huntsman and woman, truly the best in its class.

Best Roller Mag out there
Totally awsome roller mag. im a roller and like this mag totally got me motivated to go out and try some new and crazy stuff. The pictures are great and the articals rock. I got the Jan 04 copy and it was awsome i got through it in a couple days and when i was done i was like "i have to get tha next mag!" Any roller out there, u gotta get this mag! it rocksss!

An Excellent Magazine for TKD Students
This magazine is one of the best all-around martial arts magazines even though the focus is on TKD. The philosophies on training and attitude are useful no matter your art.

Best Magazine on TaeKwonDo Period
This magazine is full color cover to cover. It has great articles by well known martial artists from around the world. It is a Worldwide magazine so you get the full international feel of the art. I especially love the regular features.

If you practice TaeKwonDo, you need to get TaeKwonDo Times!

my son loves this magazine
My son saw this magazine at a doctor's office - he is only 6 and couldn't put it down! It has a lot of colorful pictures - while he doesn't fully understand the articles - it does get him away from the television for awhile. Magazine has it's own website.
The magazine also adds interest to his tae kwon do lessons and his experiences from living in S Korea. ... Read more
