Great Magazine.......Bad Customer Service!
If you subscribe to this mag from amazon or by mail thats good. If you call them.... you can expect them to be RUDE and not very comprehensive about the magazine. I may have caught the operators on a bad day but maybe not. Just to let you know what to expect.

excelent magazine!
The magazine is excellent - great articles and step by step solo worm up practices. Anyone who wants to learn more about capoeira's culture should get this magazine.

Buy With Caution
I have to start off by saying that the (1) magazine I recieved was excellent. I also have to say that Planet Capoeira, as a company, is horrible. They are highly unprofessional. If you order this magazine, the chances of you recieving anything more than May 2003's issue is about as high as the Oakland Raiders winning a Superbowl. IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. I personally subscribe to Planet Capoeira in January 2003. The only issue I've recieved is the May 2003 issue. What really throws salt in the wound is that they will never respond to any e-mail's you send them. There was a section where subscribers could send in their thoughts about the magazine. Needless to say, that section is no longer there. (There were too many complaints) I have been practicing Capoeira for over 3 years. I have a great sense of pride and love for my art. To be ripped off by a magazine who claims to share the same love for Capoeira is a slap in the face. You will NOT recieve your (4)Magazines. Capoeira Planet will NOT respond to your e-mails. It is best to wait until they become more professional and develop a little more pride as Capoeiristas and businessmen before you invest in this Magazine. If you are dying to have 1 magazine about capoeira to read, by all means, buy it. If you are looking for (4) magazines or for a company to conduct themselves as professionals, BUY WITH CAUTION!!!!!!!

Capoeira at its finast
Finally a magazine for U.S. capoeristas! I felt that the content was better than any brazilian capoeira magazine I've (tried) to read.

Seems a good magazine about kite boarding

A necessity for the serious horseman
This is the premier magazine for serious horsemen in the English disciplines. Although there are areas which may not be pertinent to everyone, the columns reflect the very latest in every area. There is no better place to sell or buy a horse than through their classified ads.

Essential for the show rider...

For the 12 year-old N.B.A. fan
If you're looking for intelligent basketball commentary and insight, Inside Stuff is not for you. I subscribed to the magazine for one year and let it lapse. The magazine is in truth geared to the youth basketball fan. Lots of glossy pictures and advertisements for Sprite but little substance. If you're looking for intelligent basketball analysis, subscribe to Basketball Digest.

Great Magazine
I've only had 2 magazines come so far and I already love it.It has great articles, cool photos, and a whole lot of other stuff. I would recomend this magazine to anyone who is an NBA fan.

B-Ballers Delight
My youngest son has been subscribing to this magazine for several years now and since I read it too, I can truthfully say it is pretty informative. It is a good way to encourage reading in youngsters since the articles are not very long and the reading level is not very difficult. Of course product ads abound which are mosly shoes and there are many a pictorals but all in all it is a good sports magazine. Since it is a NBA magazine it is interesting to note those stars that are being featured and promoted. His Airness(#23 aka MJ ), Amare Stoudemire, Kobe, Shaq, Tim Duncan, T-Mack,Vince Carter, Byron Russel, Barron Davis and all your favorite NBA players can be found in this publication. Usually a NBA star is featured for an interview in a a section known as favorite stuff . There are drills to practice for the baller, a best photo section where you can see the air and body contortions and your favorite baller slamming over another giant. My son has become a very knowledgeable basketball fan as a result of this magazine. Recommended for the b-baller in your life.

Great Magazine!
I have had a subscription to this magazine for a long time. NBA Inside Stuff if a great magazine for any basketball lover. It has great previews for every NBA season. It almost always covers a topic(s) that I want to read about and the articles are detailed and cover everything you would want to know about that topic. The magazine used to have posters, that is the only way the magazine has gotten worse, I wish they would still include posters. And I wish the would extend and write more articles, the mag is pretty flimsy for one you get every month or two. ... Read more

The ONLY real magazine on Tai Chi
This the only magazine that talks about Tai Chi Chuan and other internal MARTIAL arts as Martial Arts and not as New Age BS. Another good magazine on internal arts is Inside Kung Fu, but for serious and martial Tai Chi practitioners, this is the one.

Mainstream magazine with solid content
This magazine provides many varied articles from a variety of different practitioners and covers a variety of different styles of tai chi. It has covered the spectrum of hand techniques, joint locking, specific posture corretion, protecting the knees, interviews with Grandmasters, and the requirements of the many assorted tai chi weapons. The top custom knife magazine!
This is clearly the top choice in custom knife magazines, though Knife Illustrated is also a good choice. It's probably 60% custom / 40% production.

The articles are good and insightful, some very high quality color pictures, and it's generally speaking entertaining & instructive.

The 4 star only rating is due to (1) the lack of objectivity of the articles (I have *never* read a negative review), and (2) too many pictures of custom knives are in B&W. I would happily pay double the price, get half as many issues, but in a glossy, high quality paper, premium binding, etc...
